The Dr. A.T. Brace Infant Centre, the first facility licensed for infants (birth-24 months) in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, was established in May 2002.

The Dr. A.T. Brace Infant Centre is a 1200 ft2 self contained area specifically designed for the safety and comfort of this age group. The centre boasts 2 fully serviced infant rooms; each featuring a rest room, play room, and change area.

Staff are carefully selected and trained specifically in the care of infants and toddlers. The centre has 4 childcare staff as well as a cook and a full time director.

The lower floor of the Little People's Workshop facility on Mundy Pond Road is accessed via Campbell Avenue. Opened in 2002, The Dr. A.T. Brace Childrens Centre is an exclusive school-age program for children from kindergarten to grade 5.

The school-age facility is licensed for 30 children and welcomes children from any area of the city. Transportation and pick-up is provided to schools in the neighboring community. Parents may provide their own transportation.
